Measurement Guide
Our garments are all generous fitting, standard sizes. Your usual dress or suit size will likely be your size in any of our pieces, but here are a few notes on ensuring the proper fit.
Bust: Together with the hip measurement establishes your basic size in coats.
Waist: Not generally crucial in furs or shearlings
Hips: As with the bust, establishes your basic size. Measure the largest part.
Full Length: Very important. measure from the nape of the neck, or natural neckline, to a point lower down on the calf. Usually from 5" to 8" from the floor but really a matter of taste.
Sleeves: Measure from the neck, along the shoulder, over and down to a point on the hand a little below the wrist. That's the total measurement. If you're broad shouldered, make note of the distance from the neck to the outside point of the shoulder. (5 - 6" is common).
About petites.....
All of our fashions are available in petite sizes as well. The waist length is reduced, the pockets are raised, and other adjustments made to suit the smaller build.
